Carlo Acutis and His Love for the Eucharist!

Have you heard about the website created by Saint Carlo Acutis to spread devotion to Eucharistic miracles? It is a remarkable bridge between faith and technology, and it continues to evangelize people around the world through a simple but powerful digital mission. Carlo was canonized on September 7, 2025, and Vatican News has described him as a young witness who used technology to promote Eucharistic miracles and devotion to the Real Presence.
Known by many as the “cyber-apostle of the Eucharist,” Carlo united his love for computers with a deep devotion to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. The result was miracolieucaristici.org, a website connected to the international exhibition he designed to present Eucharistic miracles recognized by the Church in a way that is accessible, educational, and moving.
His life remains a powerful example of how holiness and innovation can walk together. Carlo showed that the presence of God can also be proclaimed in the digital world.

Saint Carlo Acutis and His Passion for the Eucharist
For Carlo Acutis, the Eucharist was much more than a religious tradition — it was the center of his spiritual life. He famously called it his “highway to Heaven,” expressing his conviction that closeness to Jesus in the Eucharist transforms the soul and leads it toward holiness. The official Carlo Acutis association and the Eucharistic Miracles exhibition both preserve this Eucharistic focus at the heart of his witness.
His motto, “Not I, but God,” reflected the way he lived. From the time of his First Communion at age seven, Carlo developed a strong Eucharistic life centered on daily Mass, prayer, and time before the tabernacle, seeking Jesus as his strength, joy, and direction.
For Carlo, the Eucharist was not merely a symbol. He believed with all his heart in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
A New Way to Evangelize
Carlo combined his love for faith and technology by creating the Eucharistic Miracles exhibition and website, which gathers Church-recognized Eucharistic miracles from around the world. According to the exhibition’s own materials, he decided in 2002 to create an exhibition on Eucharistic miracles and left it behind as part of his legacy of evangelization.
His goal was clear: to help people, especially the young, rediscover the truth that Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist. The website remains simple and easy to navigate, but its impact has been global. The official Carlo Acutis association says the exhibition has been displayed across all five continents, including in thousands of parishes and many university campuses in the United States.
Even today, Carlo’s work continues to inspire a new generation to see technology not as an obstacle to faith, but as a tool that can lead souls closer to Christ.
